About the Inner City Scholarship Fund

“My Mom told me that I’m getting help for my tuition from the 1999 Inner City Scholarship Fund. She said that because of your generous donation we are getting some help so that I can stay in my school. That means a lot to us. St. Margaret’s is a good school and I know that they will help me to learn what I should to be a smart and better person. Maybe I’ll be able to help someone else when I’m older. Thank you.”

— 4th grade student at St. Margaret School

“I would like to thank you because if it weren’t for people like you, I don’t know what would happen to the world. Your are the generous people that make me know there is a hope for me. . . Thank you for contributing to the 1999 Inner-City Scholarship Fund Campaign.”

About Boston Catholic Schools

Our three children all attended St. Joseph School in Salem. They received an excellent education in a safe, loving environment. Our children learned about respect and were respected for their individual talents. They were prepared academically for the challenges ahead of them as they pursued their careers. We are strong advocates of St. Joseph School.

— Margaret and Gerald Wilkens

Choosing a Catholic school for our children was one of the best decisions we ever made. Not only were our children able to take advantage of a strong academic curriculum, they also learned the importance of being caring, civil and tolerant human beings. We’re proud of the adults our children have become and thankful of the help we received in their formation from their teachers and staff at Sacred Heart School.

— Pat Girvan and Kevin O’Leary

“Sacred Heart School offers topnotch academics together with Catholic values, which creates the basis for an excellent education. Add in the experienced and fabulous faculty and Sacred Heart School provides the best education for our children.”

— Parents of 3rd and 5th Grade Students

“Not only are my children getting a great education, they are learning morals and respect for others!”

— Parent of 1st and 2nd Grade Students

Mission Grammar is one of those very special places that passionately believes that all children, regardless of their skin color or bank accounts, can achieve greatness. This is the greatest moral issue of our time and the Mission Grammar community is on the front lines making a difference every day.

Eric Dawson, President, Peace Games

Mission Grammar has a cohesive faculty and staff who possess a thirst for learning. During our training time together I noticed how supportive they are to one another. Everyone wants all student to have quality learning experiences.

— Tammy Tia-Dawson, Educational Consultant

I want to take the time to say thank you. Thank you for educating our daughters, thank you for your time, hard work, and dedication, but most of all, thank you for your help instilling values, character, and religious guidance. As parents, we believe that Cheverus reinforces what we try so hard to teach in our home. I think the new catch phrase for Cheverus should be “Cheverus School…the foundation of character, values, and education”

— Kathy, Bob, Alycia and Erin Sullivan

Dear God I would like to thank-you for aiding me in my decision to go to Cheverus School. It was the first year I ever went to a Catholic school. I was leaving a school I really did not like much so it was an easy decision. I sat at my table with my mother making a list of pros and cons of both schools. Cheverus was clearly the winner but for all the wrong reasons. Many of my reasons had to do with more days off, less hours of school and more class trips. All of these were important factors, but they were not the best part of Cheverus. The most prominent aspect of Cheverus was that of the common belief of school unity. The first day I stepped into the gymnasium to wait for the teachers to come get us I felt extremely welcome. It was an exceptionally close knit atmosphere, and almost seemed like family.”

— Robbie, Cheverus School Class of 2003
